From absolutely despising his BMW 330i, to loving every second of the 25 minute races at VIR, Tim Hunter has found speed in his Bimmer.
VIR saw some of XSR's closest racing in its 12 year history, with everyone of the drivers making moves and pushing for fast lap honors. All four starters led laps in both races, but eventually a FCY triggered a showdown between Tim and Spike in both races, which saw Tim beating Spike by 0.015 seconds, what is believed to be the closest finish in XSR history. Tim followed through with a second victory in Race 6, and claimed the Most Laps Led double bonus points in the process.
