A headline that could relate to two different drivers, instead pertains to two different titles. Long time XSR member and relatively new League Coordinator, Daniel Hunter, also known as Turbolader, managed to hold off Tim in tonight's Classic GT double feature at Watkins Glen, allowing him the one point he needed to secure the CGT championship, lending him 10 points in his season long fight with Spike for the GC crown. Next season, Daniel will have to have a tough defense for his crown, as the admins are close to finalizing the 2024 race calendar, and it provides some new challenges along with returning favorites for XSR members.

In what the XTCC drivers have called the best event of the season, Circuit Ricciardo Tormo played host to a return to form for XSR veteran Glenn Briden. At the start Briden took the lead from 3rd in the grid before reaching turn 1, and held on to it for some time as Spiegel and Hunter continued their season long battle behind. Eventually he gave way to their battle and ran 3rd for a while until series rookie, veteran driver Thomas Benham rolled his Toyota Corolla, bringing out the virtual safety car. Once repairs were complete and he had rejoined the field, the pack readied themselves for a restart in the back straight, a restart that Briden timed perfectly. With a missed shift, Spiegel dropped from the lead to 4th before reaching the...
Portland proved to be just as tricky as track as ever for the XTCC drivers with mixed weather practice conditions that eventually gave way to dry track for the races 7 and 8. This made no difference to Spike nor Daniel who despite a couple of offs, found themselves trading fast laps until Spike won Race 7. This event left the top three in the points standings separated by just 3 points prior to race 8. Race 8 looked different right off that bat with Tim leading the most laps and looking good for the victory until he also had an off that allowed Daniel and Spike to drive by, Daniel taking the win.
From absolutely despising his BMW 330i, to loving every second of the 25 minute races at VIR, Tim Hunter has found speed in his Bimmer. VIR saw some of XSR's closest racing in its 12 year history, with everyone of the drivers making moves and pushing for fast lap honors. All four starters led laps in both races, but eventually a FCY triggered a showdown between Tim and Spike in both races, which saw Tim beating Spike by 0.015 seconds, what is believed to be the closest finish in XSR history. Tim followed through with a second victory in Race 6, and claimed the Most Laps Led double bonus points in the process.
In a complete turn around from race 2 at Laguna Seca, Daniel has claimed a double victory at Oulton Park in races 3 and 4, sweeps the event. Both Hunters had to resist hard attacks from Spiegel who was particularly good out of the hairpin and onto the long back straight. This allowed the Ford Focus to make several crucial passes and set fast laps in both races, but in the end, Daniel had the luck and persistence to fend off Spiegel towards the end of race 3, and Tim in race 4. Rookie Gabriel Payne also took his first green flag with the series in Race 4 and performed well, leading a couple of laps before ultimately finishing 3rd, scoring his first XSR podium.
In Race 1, which occurred just prior to Race 2, Spike Spiegel, driver of the #77 Ford Focus, had massive technical glitches causing his machine to lag for 20-25 seconds per episode. That didn’t stop him from bringing home the victory in race two, despite one more glitch following some changes between races. At the start Spiegel had a great jump on pole sitter D. Hunter, the pair running side by side all the way to T2, where Hunter prevailed and continued to lead the first stint. A few laps in Spiegel suffered another lockup with his machine, setting him back more than 20 seconds and in his haste to make up time, he drove off at T6 and hit the tire barrier, bending his steering. In a turn of luck, the competition caution had not yet...
In an exciting opening round for our new Xplore Touring Car Championship, Glenn Briden was able to take advantage of a technical problem for Renegade Autosport's Spike Spiegel and the competition caution to take home the first win of the series. Early on Spiegel, who started on pole thanks to the random grid, led the first half of the race before computer troubles brought his race nearly to a halt. Having had multiple episodes, Briden was able to take the lead during the first glitch and hold on through the end of the race, despite the hard charge from Spiegel's team mate, Daniel Hunter. Last night's races featured 4 different makes on the grid and showed how closely matched they all are, and where their strengths on the track would...
#74 Spike Spiegel leads #65 Daniel Hunter into T1 at Autodrom Most It was a thrilling season! There is no other way to put it. While XSR's regrowth has admittedly been slower than we would like, there was no shortage of action in the third season of Porsche Cup presented by ShadeTree PC. Short races, combined with custom rules to allow all drivers to compete for the race wins and championship all season long, seeing a final points deficit of just 21 points between Renegade Autosport's Spike Spiegel and Daniel Hunter. This is despite that fact that Hunter missed a couple of races throughout the season. Spiegel, the pilot of the #74 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup racked up 4 wins, 3 additional podiums, and 18 bonus points on his way to the...

Hi there seems to be MANY questions about the NEW RF2 Multiplayer feature. How it works you can join a server that has DLC content you do NOT OWN but there are a few CATCHS. First this ONLY works for DLC content regular workshop content you MUST install as regular. Second In order to join a server with DLC content you do NOT OWN you must first DOWNLOAD that content to your PC. The choices are either through the games UI page or through steam ( Steam method NOT shown here. ) Using the game UI: 1: Go to Content & Settings TAB 2: Go to MANAGE CONTENT section 3: Select STORE CONTENT tab. In order to find content you do NOT own or have INSTALLED scroll to the BOTTOM of this list anything with a RED X you must select. On the...
This is a huge one for league owners, like myself, that likes to run paid DLC in their events! While it won't do much for tracks, this new update looks to allow leagues to run large multiclass series with however many classes and car models they want regardless of what their members own, as now the members only need what they already own or have to purchase one car (of 10+ in XSCC's case) rather than the whole field to be able to participate. This is amazing new for us here at XSR and I am sure for many more league owners and drivers alike! Studio 397 has announced a great track coming to Rfactor 2 next week! We were already running Long Beach next weekend as a part of our XSCC series using the fantastic version from the workshop by LuisB, however now our admins are in talks with the XSCC drivers on whether to change the schedule to accommodate enough time for release and acquisition of the official Long Beach track or stick with the current plan. We think this is a fantastic add to the game and we can't wait to put rubber to pavement! Studio 397 has announced sweeping updates to their GT3 cars due out this month! They are revamping the Balance of Performance tables and applying a tire update, both of which are much needed and could help see the class return to XSR competition in RF2. After a season off, the Xplore Sports Car Championship is set to return for a second season. Previously hosting two classes of competition between the Cadillac DPi.VR and the GTE cars, this time the series organizers have added the new Porsche 992 GT3 Cup to the mix along with the Acura ARX-05 DPi found in the Rfactor2 workshop. When asked why now for the second season and about the addition of the Acura and Porsche Cup car, they had this to say: “Last season all members of our administration had a lot of life changes, leaving us little room for series so we had to pick and choose. This year things have note only settled down for all us, but we added a new member and are still searching for another member or two to join our league...
