#1 Assetto Corsa

Is XSR considering any league action in the Assetto Corsa sim? It's really taking off with breakneck speed now with the modding be opened up. I was just alerted to the HistorX mod being ported over by the original creator. There are numerous tracks already available and individual cars are starting to really pile up. Just curious as I know when the game goes retail, I'm sure there will be plenty of drivers looking to get into league play. So far from what I've seen, it's a pretty good atmosphere here, with close comradaries built or building.

I have not thought too much about it recently, but it is probably something we will consider in the future. If at some point something in that regard gets started up, I may have someone else run that league for a little while, but it is definitely on the table I think.

In process right now. We have a server that has been tested and soon will be starting off with some hot-lap competitions.

At his point, it's taken a back seat to Game Stock Car.
AC is quite the pain to configure the server, and requires quite a lot of horsepower to run descent graphics smoothly.
It's still on sitting on our server, so it's not a lost idea.

So far not yet. I still have it on my machine, but have had a lot of personal stuff going on and I myself haven't messed with it much in quite some time. We poked around and did some open events which generated no interest that we could tell so we dropped it. As you see with the addition of RF and GSCE, I'm perfectly open to having AC events on the site, but I can't take them on either as the event admin or a driver. Alex also has his plate full, having just added to his RF load and taking on Game Stock Car. So in effect we would need another admin to take the reigns for AC. That would include advertising the league to bring in drivers, creating events and working around the schedules of the groups already in place, which as a start up wouldn't be a big deal, and running the server. So if anyone (yourself included) wants to take it up, it is ok with me, they just need to get with me in PMs to get the ball rolling.
